Southwick Fire Department is a licensed Advanced Life Support (ALS) Ambulance Service. SFD has one ALS and one BLS ambulance. Currently the Southwick Fire Department has career Firefighter/Paramedics & EMTs that are scheduled to keep the station staffed 24/7, 365 days a year, this is in addition to our roster of on call Paramedics & EMT’s. The Department responds to approximately 900 EMS calls a year.

Southwick Fire staffs at least one ambulance 24/7, in addition our backup ambulance is often staffed and is used in the event of more than one medical emergency or multiple patients
